Hall in Left Field Tonight

Quick interesting note here. Your starting left fielder for the Brewers tonight is... Bill Hall? Despite never playing left field in the major leagues, Hall will be out there against Pirates lefty starter Paul Maholm. Right handed hitter Casey McGehee will be at the hot corner in place of Hall. Brad Nelson and Chris Duffy could have been replacements for Braun in left, but they are both lefties, and Nelson would go 0-for-4 anyway.

Interesting move, but I like it. Now we'll just wait and see if that means Rickie will be in the 3-hole again with Braun still out with his day-to-day injury.

In other news, the Cubs' Carlos Zambrano is out 2-3 weeks after straining his hammy while running out a bunt. So that's awesome.
