There were plenty of questions surrounding Ben Sheets after he left Monday's game after five innings with an injury. Those questions resurfaced on Saturday when Sheets appeared to have injured himself while at the plate. Any concerns were then eliminated after Sheets went on to throw a complete game shutout as the Brewers beat the Padres 1-0. Or as FSN's Brian Anderson referred to it, a Miller Park Masterpiece.
It was a good outing for the Cerveceros, who only needed one run to get the victory. That came in the 3rd inning, when Prince Fielder hit a shot into right field that briefly rested under the wall. Braun was able to beat out the throw and cross the plate, and that was enough.
Box Score.

It should be noted that this win guaranteed the Brewers an above .500 season for the first time since 1992. Of course, an 82-80 record at this point will be a colossal disappointment, but worth mentioning nonetheless.
