Back in Fondy for the night, just watched CC throw 103 pitches for another complete game victory. The Brewers have now won 5 of 7, and seem to have righted the ship after that devastating series against the Cubs. The Cubs, by the way, used two Jim Edmonds homers to beat the Cardinals 3-2. That leaves the Brewers still 5 back of Chicago, yet 2 games in front of the Cardinals for the Wild Card.
Since I'm in Fondy, I'm actually around friends and family for the night, instead of holed up in my motel room of an apartment. So instead of writing a typical recap for you, I'm going to go around the room and get everyone's opinions on the game tonight, as well as the team.
Bear, co-author of The Bucky Channel: Cameron and Weeks are pulling their weight, and Sabathia is a workhorse. Good to see J.J. Hardy break out of his slump as well. However, I spent most of the night watching the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on TV, I'm serious. They must have spent like 3 million dollars on the Opening Ceremonies alone.
CC (not Sabathia), Bucky Channel reader: The Brewers are undefeated of since the scuffles in the dugout. Prince Fielder being the match of the team, lighting a fire under everyone's ass. Go buy some Robinade.
b3, Bucky Channel reader / my brother: I have nothing.
Well, that really didn't go over as well as I thought it would. CC is right about the Robinade though. 6, 2, and Even.
Box Score.
TBC's Player of the Game: CC Sabathia.

It seems Bear's estimate was a little conservative -- I heard on the radio this morning that the opening ceremonies cost $100 million.
