The first thing I do every year the Bucks schedule is released is try to see how many nationally televised games they have. They usually pick up one game, because I think the NBA tries to make sure every team is spotlighted at least once. Or maybe it's out of sympathy. Whatever the reason, there lone nationally televised game this season will be on ESPN, Friday February 27th.
Here are some of the highlights of the Bucks schedule:
Oct. 28 - @ Chicago Bulls - Coach Scott Skiles begins his regime as the Bucks coach with a visit to his old team. This will be the 24th straight season the franchise has opened the season on the road.
Oct. 29 - @ Oklahoma City - The new franchise in OKC hosts their first game, and welcome the Bucks as their first opponents.
Nov. 8 - Phoenix Suns - Former Bucks coach Terry Porter comes to town as the new coach of the Phoenix Suns.
Nov. 15 - Boston Celtics - The Bucks host the NBA Champion Celtics, they will also host Boston again on March 15th.
Jan. 9 - New Jersey Nets - Yi and the Nets come to Milwaukee for the first of four meetings with the Bucks. They also square off on Feb. 3, Mar. 3, Mar. 30.
Apr. 1 - Los Angeles Lakers - The Lakers don't make their annual trip to the Bradley Center until late in the season.
Apr. 15 - @ Indiana Pacers - The Bucks regular season concludes with a trip to Indiana.
