Earlier in April, we brought you the news that former Badger quarterback Tyler Donovan had been found, and that he was trying out for the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL. Well, now we're sad to report that he won't likely be making the roster, and is instead doomed for the team's practice squad.
But don't worry for Donovan, he's still keeping his head up high, as he tells the Edmonton Sun: "I'm just going to come in and compete. That's what's exciting. I'm still playing the game that I love. I'm coming in trying to play in a league that I think fits me very well... I know all three of these guys are established players and just getting to work with them is pretty neat."
It's good to see Donovan follow his dreams, but can he really ever break through on a roster that already has Ricky Ray, Jason Maas, and Stefan LeFors! (please realize I'm joking)
