It's late May, and if you're a Packer fan, you know what that means... Organized Team Activities begin! Practice began at 11:15am and we'll hear from Mike McCarthy and some of the players later in the day. For OTA updates, I'm going to send you over to Greg A. Bedard at JS Online, as he's right in the middle of the action.
The really only interesting thing about these OTA's, besides meeting the rookies, is the list of who's not taking part in them due to injury. Packers.com has the full list, but I can tell you both Will Blackmon and Johnny Jolly are going to miss all of the scheduled practices. Add to that list last year's first round pick Justin Harrell, who is out with a back injury.
I'm also interested to see how the media deals with the Rodgers / Brohm "battle", even though there's no way Rodgers isn't the starter week one unless he's hurt (which isn't unlikely, I suppose). I have to admit, I was a little surprised to see a girl already wearing a Brian Brohm jersey went I went out to the bars the other night. A little impulsive, if you ask me.

Are you going to write anything on the big sports news in Fondy? The FHS fieldhouse naming rights are being sold! Fondy Pride!
Yeah, it's crazy. I'll have a few thoughts on that later tonight... along with this Badger Blogger / Haudricourt mess.
fhs selling out, thats awesome. they should leverage this offer for a better one though. since they were approached by acuity, they probably arent getting the best deal at 500k. and is it a lifetime agreement? im sure somebody would pay 500k for 10 years, then they could get 500k or more for the rights in 2018 and beyond. good idea, but if theyre going to do it, they should think some of these things through and maximize their profit.
ps i have no ides what youre talking about with this badger blogger stuff. more blog wars?
