Oh no! A losing streak!!! The Brewers fall to 1-2 in Spring Training, losing earlier today to the Colorado Rockies, 6-3. The good news here was a stong performance from Ben Sheets, giving up no hits in his two innings of quick work. Zach Jackson also had two no-hit innings for the Crew. Scott Cassidy gave up four runs, three earned to nab the loss today. Maybe next year, Scott.
At the plate, nine different Brewers had nine different hits, including a triple from Laynce Nix and a home run by Vinny Rottino. Rickie Weeks and Matt LaPorta each had a stolen base.
The Brewers will take the Angels tomorrow, with Carlos Villanueva up against Jon Garland.
(Also, it was just announced the Brewers / Cubs Opening Day game on March 31st will be broadcast by ESPN2)
