Marquette Advances

The Marquette Golden Eagles survived their first game of the Big East Tournament by beating Seton Hall 67-54, although the game was much closer than the score indicated (although I've always had a problem with that cliche, a 13 point win will always be a 13 point win, right?) Seton Hall did play with Marquette for much of the game, but Marquette stepped it up a notch in the final minutes. In fact, Seton Hall didn't have a point in the last five minutes of this one.

Marquette is back on the floor tomorrow night at 8:30, in what should be a great game against Notre Dame.
