Yovani Gallardo seems to be "on-schedule" in his rehab after a knee injury left him sidelined three weeks ago. The Brewers pitcher is throwing some live batting practice to some minor-league hitters today. According to the JSonline Brewers blog, he's been throwing lightly off the mound since having torn cartilage removed from his knee at the start of camp, and facing hitters is the next step.
It appears that Gallardo will still be listed on the DL when the season starts, but should be able to join the rotation in mid-April.
The healthy Brewers play the Giants today at 3:05pm.
